Marlin came to FUMC, Katy in June of 2003. He has pastored churches in East Texas and the Houston area since the early 1980's. He loves people, spending time with his family, watching sports and playing guitar. His undergraduate degree is in Education Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University and taught 5th and 6th grades before entering the ordained ministry. He holds a Master of Theology degree from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University.
Lani leads the Youth Program and Learning Ministries for FUMC. She graduated from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. Lani is married to Don and they have two children, Chad and Olivia.
Pam Cline is the Minister to Children and Families. She has been in ministry to the Methodist Church both lay and clergy since 1984. Pam graduated from Duke Divinity in 2006. She also is a graduate of University of South Florida and also attended South Texas College Law and SMU. Pam and her husband, Phil have been married for 27 yrs and have a son and daughter in college.
Barry has been involved for over 23 years in many aspects of music and fine arts. Not only church music, but opera, musical theater, choral singing and stage acting. Barry has degrees from Lon Morris College and Southwestern University. He lives in Houston, but loves to make the daily commute to Katy to serve and fulfill God’s call upon his life!
Robin has been with us since July 2002. She spent seven years working as the assistant to the Financial Director at First Baptist Church of Katy and received her accounting degree in 1996 while working there. If you have any questions regarding contributions you can call or send her an e-mail.
Dorinda has been director since January 2006. She has many years experience in the early childhood field. She and her husband, Billy, have two children. Dorinda welcomes you to come by and see the wonderful program at LPS.
Robin shares her gifts and talents with music and worship arts ministries and communications. Since joining FUMC in 1996 Robin has served on and chaired the Children's Committee, chaired the Worship Team, taught at Little People's School, and coordinated Musical Monday Funday. Working with children, Robin felt a real call to help FUMC grow.
She assists the Sr. Pastor and supports many areas of the church office, including maintaining membership records, communications, calendar requests, liaises with Trustees with ongoing projects in and around the church and assists with overall daily operations of the church.
Miriam has been on staff since January 2007 and does a fabulous job helping our church sparkle. Always a smiling face Miriam is a shining star.
Erin is a teacher with Little People School she also assists with weddings by providing tours and internal church communications.
